Biography
Diana was born in Anchorage Alaska in 1981 and raised in the strangest states all over the US in the multicultural equivalent of the Brady Bunch Family. She decided to graduate early from high school after an op-ed piece about teacher’s salaries got printed in the local supplement of The Washington Post.
Dropping Pre-Law to pursue making experimental films and art, she came to Berlin on a study exchange after a near death experience. Moving to Berlin after getting her Bachelor’s, she quit her day job to move for a year to a commune near Weimar.
She is a pessimistic optimist who hasn’t lost faith in the world just some of the people in it and is interested in impressing grandparents, workers and activists. She is a mad max hippie constantly questioning herself, her surroundings and the world at large. Her website has a pretentious name but she decided not to change it because she had it for too long and a make up artist in Chicago bought dianaarce.com.
Diana is currently working interventions for the improvement of everyday life, scientific alchemy experiments and the expansion of her political speech karaoke project, Politaoke.
